A major year-long exhibition dedicated to Pablo Picasso, hosted in the historic monastery complex of Český Krumlov, the pearl of the South Bohemia region. The show presents over 100 original works, including lithographs, drawings, ceramics, and paintings.

Women, animals and mythology



From April 9, 2025, to April 9, 2026, the Monastery Gallery in Český Krumlov hosts Picasso Life — a unique exhibition offering a rare glimpse into the genius and humanity of Pablo Picasso.

It explores themes such as nature, women, mythology, animals, and the artist’s personal life. Also on display are rare photographs, international exhibition posters, and documentary footage. The exhibition features interactive elements and is suitable for all ages.
 

GOOD TO KNOW: Český Krumlov, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in South Bohemia, is renowned for its beautifully preserved medieval architecture, winding cobblestone streets, and fairy-tale atmosphere. Highlights include the majestic Český Krumlov Castle with its Baroque theatre and tower views, the scenic Vltava River, and the charming Old Town filled with galleries, cafes, and historic buildings.
